Depositing $BGT to BGT Market

1. Make sure you're on the correct site

Make sure you're visiting app.bgt.market. For easier access, you may bookmark the site in your browser. Do not trust any links from third-party sites or private DMs. Always assume DMs pretending to be us are trying to steal your precious $BGT.

2. Connect your wallet

On the top right hand corner of your screen, you will find the button to connect your wallet to the BGT Market dApp.

3. Claim your $BGT to BGT Market

If you have claimable $BGT rewards associated to your wallet address, you will be able to approve and claim your $BGT to BGT Market. This $BGT balance (see below) should correspond exactly to your Claimable BGT balance on BGT Station.

If you've already claimed $BGT from BGT Station into your wallet (EOA), you will not be able to transfer the $BGT from your wallet to BGT Market for auctions. Also, note that once you have claimed your $BGT balance to BGT Market, you will not be able to send it to any other destination as $BGT is non-transferrable.

If you currently do not have any $BGT, you may either learn more about how Reward Vaults work or head over to BGT Station to view all active Reward Vaults and start farming for $BGT.

4. View your $BGT balance

Once you have approved and claim your $BGT to BGT Market, your $BGT balance will be reflected near the top right corner of the dapp, denoted as BGT.m to avoid confusion with your $BGT balance claimed to your wallet. Your $BGT balance claimed to your wallet will not be reflected on BGT Market.

Your BGT.m balance refers to the amount of $BGT you have claimed to BGT Market, and works exactly as $BGT should. With your BGT.m, you will be able to sell them via dutch auctions, delegate them to your preferred validators on BGT Market, or redeem them for $BERA. To learn how to do so, please read the following sections.

When you claim $BGT to BGT Market's smart contracts, the platform and its developers are unable to access or delegate your $BGT or claim incentives on your behalf. Only you can perform actions relating to your $BGT.
